DescriptionTom Clarke is a sculptor & stone carver. He started carving in 1974 at Chichester where he did his apprenticeship.
Tom has been involved in many large & interesting restoration projects including St George's Chapel, Windsor, West Minster Abbey, the National Gallery & Ely Cathedral.
For the past few years he has been developing his own sculptural pieces inspired by travels in India and Egypt, and by his great love of medieval art.
In the workshop alongside his 16th century Hamstone house he produces a wide variety of beautiful pieces. As well as the stone carvings, he also paints and teaches.
