‘An Angel’ Carving, in fruit wood - H.66cms A wonderful, Flemish School carving of an angel, almost certainly originally carved to stand on the right-hand side of an altar. The wood is a fruitwood, probably peach. Originally, this would have been gessoed, gilded & painted. |
